I stopped exercising when I left a corporate job to start my own business. It went on like this for 4 years until I recently resumed going to the gym. I should have known better but geez what a difference and i've really made it a priority now. Good reminder Siimon.
You are speaking to the Guru of Exercise Conditioning for people in corporate roles. I won an award for Health and Wellness Innovation last Year fo r my Presentation on Keeping Your Working Body and Mind Fit, which includes desk exercise, eye and hand exercises, as well as breathing techniques and meditation. I actually spoke to you about exercise for corporate people at one of your Bondi events about 6 years ago and asked if I could show people what to do instead of sitting for hours and how this would keep them more interested in what you were presenting. You got me to speak to your business partner, but he was not particularly interested. The corporate world is sick in 2018 and in 2016 I was posting Sitting is the New Smoking....get up and move. I run classes and my corporate clients who move, stretch, practise mindfulness and intention plus engage core muscles, learn to breath better and more find they sleep better, are more productive and live longer, healthier lives.
Would you like me to run this workshop or as a webinar for you? I include Yoga Nidra that I have made and have on ITUNES either 10 or 35 Minutes of Meditation after exercise for complete Mind/Body Balance Workout. My business is www.bodyandbalance.com.au
My client monthly mailouts include masses of information on improving brain and gut health, exercising the brain as well as the body. Left/Right Brain balancing and more. Email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to discuss this further and as you know it is the only way to improve work and life performance. Thank you for putting that post up as I would hope it makes someone get up and move. Jill Healy-Quintard
Thanks so much Siimon, always been a walker and got so caught up lately with moving to another town, opening a new office, blah, blah, blah, you put the icing on the cake for getting back into a routine. You are so right, as usual.
Couldn't agree with you more Siimon, I believe a daily exercise routine is one of the foundational activities that makes people successful. Business requires a lot of energy from an individual and daily exercise delivers.
Thanks Siimon. I stopped exercising for a long time but 2 months ago decided it had to be a part of my daily routine. I was terrified of going on the first day but now i am in the rhythym its getting easier every day and yes i agree makes me a better entrepeneur
Thanks Siimon, I agree 297% !
